Well Pearl is pressing the dummy into my hand every time and my old dog never did that. And she is just as fast or faster.
Many things I go to teach her she already seems to know. Like she took casts the first time. You are doing something right Warren.

My son got a pup from another breeder, she is two months younger but lacks the fire that my dog has. I could not be happier.

Saw this picture and thought of your pup ghosthunter.  Young labs are very smart and at times can be inventive in the situations they get themselves into.

If I didn't know better I would say that could have been my yellow girl when she was a pup.  Could maybe save on some electricity thataway.   :chuckle:

Yup! My brittany saves us lots of water previously used for pre-rinsing (at least when I don't catch him at it).

A Labradoodle I bred stopped by to visit my bird pen this morning....She's pretty cute huh?  :chuckle:

Yes!  She is a cutie!  Love the eyes...

Labradoodle looks a lot like one of them ornery Puddle Poodles.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Well Pearl is almost 9 months old. Today I took her to spay and neuter clinic.
To get spayed.
She is home now and a little sore. Resting at my feet. No training for 7 days just rest and time to heal.
It's always nice when I take her in that they comment on her obedience. She gets on the scale on command and sits until told to more. Heals right through a line of other dogs straining against their owners.and wages her tail at the cats.

She is lining out to100 yards now. Doing wagon wheel drills like they were her invention. Runs flat out on retrieves and attacks the dummy.

Will start working on a platform for her to sit in my boat and some kind of entry ramp.
Than the water work starts out of the boat.

We should be ready to rock when the waterfowl season starts after I get back from elk and deer.

Sending in my AKC registration this week end. Was just waiting to get her spayed.
AKC name will be Ireland Farms Dirty Water Pearl.......call name Pearl.

Thanks Warren for a dang nice pup.

Glad she's turned out to be what you'd hoped for. You've done a great job training her, that always helps!

Ghosthunter or Warren -   Is Pearl one of Goose and Jagger's pups?  She is a doll!

Thanks for sharing Ghosthunter.    Pearl is a gorgeous girl!   We are in line for the first female from Goose and Jag's next litter due in July.  To say we are beyond excited is an understatement!!

Goose is very similar in size, temperament and pedigree to Bizzy, so I expect their pups to be a lot like Pearl.

You will be very happy with the total experience. Warren is a super nice breeder to work with. Trust me there are some breeders from other planets out there.

Might be a dumb question but why register an altered dog?
