Here's a couple public opinion polls about the new MT rules for managing wolves if you care to make your voice heard.

Thanks I voted, the second one is in favor of management, but we are behind the wolf lovers on the first one....

MT FWP voted yesterday to expand the state's wolf hunting program to allow trapping. What do you think?

My main concern is safety for livestock populations. Trap away.
150 votes 61.0%

I'm okay with hunting, but trapping presents too many dangers for people and pets.
45 votes 18.3%

Trapping would be fine if there were more regulations and education to keep pets safe.
16 votes 6.5%

We shouldn't be killing wolves at all.
35 votes 14.2%

These polls are worthless.  They just become a game of who can post the links on more pro/anti-wolf forums.

Unfortunately nothing happens if polls are opposed to wolves, but, they will use these polls to promote wolves if the polls are in their favor. :twocents:

Just voted, gaining on em :)

 Yes 118 49%  No 124 51%

As far as the second pole I don't realy agree with any of the choices. Leaning towards the first choice but livestock isn't my upmost concern, sound management of an apex predator is. MT still has a long ways to go before they get the wolves anywhere close to what I feel is an acceptable number. Trap away!

You are correct, not good choices, that second poll was designed to swing the vote in favor of the wolf, you can tell the way it's written.  :twocents:
