I just Realized today that in 3 days it will be 42 years since my dear Friend Jim Schmidt lost his life in Vietnam at the tender age of 20 years old.
Rest In Peace My Friend and Thank you for your Ultimate Sacrifice to Our Country!
You may be gone, but you never will be forgotten!

RIP and thank you for your sacrifice Jim Schmidt. I was a freshman in high school at that time and so many of those my age were so very lucky we weren't born a few years earlier! Draft and war ended when I was a senior.

Hey Dick, as I read your post here and reflect on your other posts, what comes to my mind is that you are a class act and a genuine good person.

Thank you woodman, you are so very kind. I try my best to live every day in the way that my Parents raised me. Nothing more, nothing less.
