Chucks still out?
« on: July 28, 2012, 10:58:43 PM »
I am heading to Ellensburg to visit the inlaws next weekend, and my father-in-law usually go out cruising for varmints.   I would love to try out the .204 on some rockchucks, if they are still out and about.  Is anyone still seeing them, or are they under ground now?
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks,
Chris

They're out, just not so much in the middle of the day. Blew one up yesterday at about 5:30.

Yeah, there may be a few that sleep during the heat of the day, but for the most part they are getting scarce.  The ones I saw the week before, in the cool of the morning, were nowhere to be seen--or heard.  It was like you shut off a faucet!
