Elk 101 DVD
« on: July 22, 2013, 04:07:46 PM »
If anyone is interested in learning something on Elk who don't already know. The elk 101 university is an amazing dvd, I've watched it twice already just to try to absorb all the information. Its the most informative thing I've ever found in relation to elk. Great for us elk virgins. It would help for even those elk vets out there.  I recommend picking one up. Cover's everything from conditioning, calling, windage and thermals, quartering, everything.   Good work guys.

I will second that Smossy!

I have been hunting elk for 25 years and have been fairly successful over the last 7-8 years, and I have picked up several good points in the video.  In fact, I have watched it through twice while running on eliptical and will watch it one more time with a note pad in my hand.

Great points on thermals, set ups, and calling!
