When's my 7 month pup going to pee like a man and not a sissy little girl dog?I show him how to do it in the yard lifting my leg and pissing on everything but he continues to squat. Never had a male dog before, so not sure when this change will happen or if it will...

My lab started peeing like a male dog at about 12 months old if I remember right. Probably when they realize its easier to mark stuff if they lift their leg..........

rasbo, that happens! Our pastor stopped by one time and while he was standing there talking to my wife and I our little peekapoo walked over, lifted his leg, and peed on his shoe. I was trying not to look, hoping the pastor wouldn't notice. It didn't work, he looked down and said, "I guess he doesn't like my sermons". What do you say? We're sorry just doesn't seem to work. Later of course, after I quit rolling on the ground laughing, I told the dog don't do that any more.
This could be serious. Some questions:1. Does he take the bow out of your Yorky's hair and wear it himself?2. Do you ever hear "YMCA" playing late at night after everyone's gone to bed?3. Does he prefer beer or reisling?4. When you tell him to shake, does his wrist seem extra floppy? You may need to send him to Butch Dog School. There's one near Cle Elum called Bitches to Butches. These dogs can be fixed to turn normal!
