its illegal is why he should be prosecuted, it has nothing to do with ones hunting method preferences... and all that comment does is fuel the belief that baits and such are "unfair" to the animals.  Baiting bears is illegal he got busted leave it at that no need to add in the animal rights HSUS BS  :bash: :bash:

That is the reason we didn't see any bears over by Mazama last year . They were all having doughnuts at this guys cabin  :bash:

Still a couple bear hanging around his place seen a black and a cinnamon bear about a mile up the road from his place 2 weeks ago.

The difference is an anti-hunting group, mostly out of state people, put up enough money to collect enough signatures of non-hunting WA citizens to get the proposal on the ballot.  Then they ran enough ads to get enough non-hunting WA citizens to vote in a law against hound hunting of bears and baiting of bears. 

The same group would love to ban baiting of deer and elk; that might be next.  After that they may take on banning all hunting.
