Remington 1100 value
« on: July 17, 2012, 12:48:53 PM »
Alright I am trying to figure out a value on this shotgun.  My neighbor wants me to sell this for her and I know nothing about shotguns.   It is a Remington 1100   2 3/4 shot.  This shotgun is in excellent condition. She said it has not been shot in 30 years and probably only been out of the case a couple times during those 30 years.  I truthfully doubt many shells have gone through it by the looks of it.  From looking online I see they range from $350 on up.  Would $450 be a fair amount for this shotgun or what would you start at?  Thanks for your feedback.

I think you're right in the ballpark with $350-$450.  I've got a couple of them and that's what I see them all marked for at gun shows and on line.   Not sure how many are selling in that $450 range though??  I would say that if she wants to sell it that $375 would be a good starting point.  :twocents:
Good Luck!

I have 2 older 1100's. $350 to375 in good condition is fair price.

Big drawback for many is thatncan shoot only 2 3/4
