I killed a King
« on: July 17, 2012, 04:10:04 PM »
Lil Ripper and myself headed out of the Everett marina yesterday morning in a thick, dense, blinding fog. It was a boat ride over to the West side of Possession Bar for the bravest of souls!   :yike: Or just the foolhardy! :chuckle: After a short uneventful time near Scatchet head we moved over to Point No Point where we clubbed one nice hatchery brat of around or near 13lb's. It was a fun, long day and we ended up with a smallish silver to add to the bait box. Green and silver Hot Spot flasher with a red stripe followed by 42" 30Lb leader and a 4" army truck Coyote spoon was the hot set up. Also C&R'd 3 or 4 shakers, 2 rock cod and 3 doggies. GF snapped the sunset photo. A beautiful one it was. The fish checkers at 8:30 pm had checked 69 kings and 13 coho for a .5 fish per boat average. Not hot but not too bad considering the tides.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!
