Ok, ok,....so there might be a few....but they hide well!

'Ya know, it depends on the style of hunting that you might be interested in, and how open or "tight" the terrain your use too.

There are a few areas, where everyone takes a pot shot at them, then brings out their foxpro, and calls as loud as they can turn the thing up too. In those areas, its murder to get them to come in, they have been so well educated.

If you can figure out a way to get those to come in, you'll be worth your weight in gold!  ;)

And how far a guy wants to drive.

I have lived in Eastern Washington for 7 years and I have never seen or heard of coyotes on this side of the mountains. There were rumors flying around years ago about a coyote being seen up in the extreme N.E. corner of the State but as it turned out, it was a wolf and no one could shoot it because of some sort of protection thingy going on at the time  :dunno:

I wouldn't waste my time driving from the west side to look for coyotes over here, it makes no sense, fuel is too expensive, might as well stay home and watch Predator Quest.

I've been busy but have seen very few.  I'm guessing I've seen a dog every 3 weeks or so.  But....most of the locals die and it takes till late fall for the new boys in town to move in.....

Either that or I'm blind  :dunno:
