« on: July 21, 2012, 06:12:08 AM »
has anyone out there had problems with the bowstring going past the string dampeners and get caught behind them after every shot.  its a new problem.  someone said its string stretch and the string is oscillating.  what do you guys think.   :dunno:

Windy- Have you ever changed out the string stops? If not start with that, next look at your idler wheel, strings may have stretched enough to cause the lean to put the string angle out too far. No problems there, I would next call Mathews or a good Mathews dealer and ask their techs.

I have a Reezen 7.0 and I had the same problem.  I fixed it by buying new rubber dampeners AND you HAVE to buy the Dead End String stop to put on your bow, by doing those 2 thngs it will stop your issue.

Windy- Mathews did a change on their string stops around the time the Reezen came out. If you have the ones that are rounded at the ends those are the newer ones. If they are more pointed those are the older ones, I still think youu may have some lean going on.
