Here we move into another class of moose, these should be "no brainers" for you guys.

No brainer I'd say, heck a 140 would be a no brainer for me.  I've got to stop looking at all these huge bulls, otherwise my expectations will be all out of whack.  Thanks for posting though, its great to see the different looks bulls can have, and help me figure out what is important to look for in terms of eye appeal.

I'd like a thread of 130 bulls personally, when a guy sees a 150 it will be a no brainer, but I'm guess those in the 130 range might deceive a guy, got any pics of those type of bulls?

E-mailed an Official B&C Measurer in Kettle Falls. On how to field judge a moose. This was his responce.
Call the Boone and Crockett  in Missoula and order their publication
How to Judge Bib Game Trophies in the Field.  Great reading!
Best moose hunting advice I can give you:  DON"T GET TRIGGER HAPPY
until the last day of the season.
Moose are VERY tough to judge in the field.

:mgun: You're right, those are no brainers. The 130 bulls should be easy to tell IMO, the 150's will be easy as well, its the 140's that are going to have me ducking my head all the time waiting for Dougs bitch slap, I think I'm going to feel like that old bald guy on The Benny Hill Show.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!
