Scouted today!
« on: July 21, 2012, 08:55:25 PM »
Opening day spot looks good! Seen 3 in the honey hole all around the 120-180 pound range nothing big but would fill the first tag of the season on one of them. Went up to another area I know and glassed a giant color phased about 1 1/2 miles away in a high meadow. This is the bear I want this year I just have to figure out how to get to him. I cant wait until the opener today was a teaser for sure 10 more days boys and girls and the fun begins!!!!

If you PM me the location of the color-phase, I promise not to go looking for him.  :chuckle:

I dont know if I will go after him either! he was on a steep mountain side that I would not want to even imagine climbing. I suppose I would do it but I would think it would be an overnighter.

Sometime i will be lucky to find a spot with maybe three bears.  Right now I'd settle for one.
  You've. Got a good spot.

I've done some scouting, but have not found anything real promising.  On poo pile so far. :bash:
