If you buy ammo online I wouldn't be too surprised if they hit you with a hazard fee!

Depending on what its for, plinking ammo comes from the WAC gun show. Cheapest by far.

Do group buys, its the best way to save money, and if you buy enough, they will take off shipping.

The rare occasions I do buy commercial ammo, it's from smaller local shops.
Seems to me I can get better deals at some of the local shops than I can at walmart or sportsman's warehouse.
I can still get HMR and 9MM for less than $10 a box locally...S/W and Walmart are both up to $14 for either.
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

There is no hazard fee for loaded ammo. I just ordered some shotgun shells from www.midwayusa.com yesterday that they had on sale. I got some of the Fiochi "Golden Pheasant" 12 gauge #4 loads and some Federal Premium 20 gauge #6's. The price was right and I couldn't resist. Gonna be putting the hurt on some birds this year.
