i just aquired a vanguard in your favorite caliber...even made a few bucks on the deal...now i just have to figure out when i can go pick it up.

i have never owned a 700...tried to buy a couple, but got outbid more than i wanted to pay.
i own a-bolts, love them, own a savage model 10, love it, haven't really found one i don't like of decent quality.

not much meat damage with that round? i read that can be a problem with some rounds under 200 yards.
thoughts?
it'll be headed east for speedgoats next year too.

Not any more than any other round. Here's mine with my goat. 207 yards, 1 shot tops of the shoulders, the rancher turned to me and said, "what the hell you shootin?" I just laughed and told him. He still talks about the lightning struck goat!!

Doin well Judular....how could anyone get mad at you! save that for the old lady  :chuckle:  working, coaching etc.  Busier than a one arm sturgeon fisherman.   You do need one 7mm in the closet....it may be the only shooter in the bunch....lol.  Later.
