Great shape.  Eating some for dinner tonight. Fishing for us has been very good.  I heard boat numbers keep climbing so be safe out there.

The fish are just starting to get some color. Last week they were bright silver. The fish I caught on Monday had some red to them.  Still in good shape though.
Will hunt for food.

SORRY Never finished this post  :dunno: :chuckle: We had a ball ...only caught a couple so I did not show them ...it was obviously the off day when we were there..We caught some and lost some ....yeah these fish do not even compare to the sockeye I caught earlier this month... not much fight in them at all but it was fun ..even though they are a little dark the meat was in good shape .....ALL and all I would go back and do it again ....what made me laugh was some people have been there for a month and went and bought freezers to put outside their motorhomes  :yike:  AND MOST OF THEM WERE PLUMB FULL  :yike: ;)   And I did get some video but I do not think you want to see it  :chuckle: :chuckle:  Trying to video - run a boat and net a fish does not make good video NOT COUNTING NOT RUNNING INTO ANOTHER BOAT !!!! THEY WERE EVERYWHERE  :yeah:

Those guys always bring their freezers. They're pretty dialed in........hence the Brewster Salmon Derby crown last year. ;)

I had a great weekend wishing with my bro, fishing has definetly slowed, the fish are there the bite has just been off for a week or so I think the water temp has a big part to do with it.  The last fish we hooked yesterday in the heat of the day was about a 20lb chinook and after my bro played him out and brought him to the boat the dam leader broke just before going for him with the net.  All in all we got some fish and lost some and hooking into the king was a great way to end the trip!  Not to mention going out and taking some pics of some local bucks last night, it was a great weekend!  Get out there and hit the sockeye if you can, with the 200+ other boats :chuckle:

My parents are on the Russian right now, and have only caught 8 fish in 3 days.  Where abouts on the Kenai?

Adam Reid, Reid guide service said they're getting 6 limits on the Kenai in about an average of 4 hours... 900,000 fish rolling in the last two weeks...

So, isn't there a possession limit on Sockeye? I understand motorhomes have small freezers but, one freezer should be enough to take care of multiple guys possesion limit???
