Lucky Shot Archery
« on: August 15, 2008, 12:11:14 AM »
Anybody ever shoot there? I went there tonight for the first time, and it is a pretty cool range. We shot the 3-d course after shooting some of the bags. Then, I found an arrow while we were on the course, so I took a shot at the 110 yard bag, and I actually hit it  :chuckle:

I did notice they had some of Charlie's business cards on their counter.

It was total luck that I hit that bag. I could see the target under my entire sight when I released. I only have pins out to 60, so that's not exactly a shot I would ever take, but since I had an arrow that wasn't mine, I figured what the hell.

Yeah I go there every now and then...  :chuckle:  My dad works there helpin out Ted so you probably ran into him yesterday.  I go down there atleast once a week to shoot!  Ted did a great job with the shop and has a lot of business coming in there.  Unlike most shops when you order custom arrows that take a week or two, they get them done in 48 hours or less! And as for that bag it's quite a poke out there but fun to shoot at!  I have a 7 deadly pins sight so I don't have to stack as many pins but for practice all I do is try and shoot good groups at that bag because it makes the short shots a piece of cake!

They are located off of Coal Creek Rd. in Chehalis.  Take exit 79 and head east about a quarter mile until you come to a T in the road, go left on to national avenue and then it's the first road on your right and follow it about 2 miles and they are on the right!
