Sell: Decent little 1991 Honda for a Hunt-Wa Member?
« on: July 23, 2012, 10:42:44 PM »
I have a 1991 Civic I'm going to sell on Craigslist. Going to post it for $1,700. It has a pile of miles but, I wouldn't BS anyone...It's a really good little rig. Doesn't burn any oil..blah, blah, blah.

I'll tell you every last thing I think it "might" need or could come up. I just put a new relay switch in it. It has ONE new tire. The rest are pretty good. Brakes are good. It drives straight as an arrow down the road. CD player and stereo work fine. Heat works. The AC is not functional. I bought it with 200K and it shifted hard then as it, shifts hard now. Just from first to second when it's cold. If you baby it and left off the gas at shift time it is fine. Tranny doesn't slip.

I've been real nice to it. It's red, four door, has no bad smells, no smoking and not a single tear in the interior. Drivers seat is a little thread bare but, it was previously driven by a 100lb woman so, it didn't get smashed. Still comfy. It gets 30mpg all day long and last time to Sunnyside I got 34mpg all highway at 70mpg. Body is decent for a 250K car. No major dents or scratches. It looks good from 20' away as most 250K cars do. Small crack on passenger side window.

I thought I'd offer it to a Hunt-Wa member for a clean $1,200 before I detail it out and hold the price at $1,700 on Craigslist. If you need a commuter, this is a good little rig. I just don't want to dicker and mess around with Craigslist folks- PM me-

The only thing I'd consider trading is an equal value of work on my 2002 F-350. I need front end bearing work done. Probably hub bearings and needles on both sides.

If you get it to CL and want 1700 for it you'd better set it at 3k. These people are crazy!
