Are you sure it wasn't taking pictures at night, or was it just that the animals were only there during the day? I know I have been getting very few pictures at night (if any). I know from last year that starting in late August or early September that will change, and the majority of my pictures will be at night.

While I was reading the owner's manual AGAIN, it has a feature called "Plot Mode" and that was set to 3 hours from the factory...apparently that means it only functions for 3 hours in the evening and 3 hours in the morning to conserve battery?? I changed the settings and it will be interesting to see if anything changes this soak??Thanks for the tip though

I had my moultrie set on plot mode and it sucked, drained the batteries in 3 days and it stores the pics in a .MDL mode, its like a fast slide show of a picture every minute (or whatever duration you set) and it takes a pic even if nothing is there. Luckly I checked it in a week, so I missed some action I reccomend you don't use the "PLOT" mode, set it to trail cam mode for traditional motion activated trail camera
