Looking for a partner for the Panhandle
« on: July 26, 2012, 10:31:52 AM »
I live in Cheney WA but I spend most of my time hunting ID with my father. He lives in Lewiston so we usually hunt the Snake, Salmon, and Clearwater. We always have luck filling our tags but would like to try a new area. I have spent time around the Coeur d Alene river and St Maries but never hunting or scounting. I'd like to find another hunter to share scouting and a hunting camp. If you have hunted the area before or have a good starting point even better. We both hunt modern but would be happy to share with stick and string guys. We are very safe and ethical hunters. Just purchased a chainsaw rope winch and would be happy to help dress and pack meat. I am happy to drive and use my rig for scouting you just kick in some gas money. I also have access to private property with full RV hookup near Prichard if that's where we decide to hunt. Also have a 500yd range at my house in Cheney if you'd like to do some shooting.

I might be interested.  I am planning to hook up with another
member for some of the season but might be looking for someone else also.  I pretty much have focused in unit 4 the last 2 years.

I would prefer to hunt unit 4. As I mentioned I have private property to leave the camp trailer and elk camp set up.

My wife is expecting our second little hunter in late Aug. I'd like to get out for a couple scouting trips before he gets here. Let me know when you'd like to make a trip.
If anyone else would like to join me for some scouting your welcome even if youre not interested in sharing a camp or hunting together.
