I've been a 7MM mag guy my whole life. Just contemplating a change.....Can I ask what your thought process was to narrow down to these two calibers?
I saw not to long ago RBros was messing with basically the same thing. I can't recall what his was labeled, mine is the 7.21 SAGE.

I enjoy the two so much, I crossed the two with a custom reamer I had done, it is bases on the .300 Win Mag case necked down to 7mm, less body taper, shoulder angle change and neck dimension lengthened and a "Secret Squirrel" throat. I saw not to long ago RBros was messing with basically the same thing. I can't recall what his was labeled, mine is the 7.21 SAGE.

The 7RM built properly will outshoot the 300WM in longrange. In most hunting distances it really is a wash. The 7RM has less recoil, the 300WM makes a bigger hole. Take whichever you get the best deal on.
It's close to a mashburn but more capacity. The neck is different along with our throat design. I played with the mashburn a lot and the data it provided helped design my case. Trust me, it's definitely not a copy of the mashburn. The throat design also has a patent pending on it. Part of the reason it's proprietary.
I think you will be happy with that for sure. Which one are you going with?
