my dad pulled a dayton tag and ran into some guys who were hoping for a watershed tag (wa side). I have heard guys talking about the unit and the rules. There was a take off point from Dayton into the watershed and outside of the rules, I thought that tag sounded unreal

Watershed tag is a great tag but it doesnt come close to your Dayton tag.

so my other question is how hard does one really get after it in the shed when u cant go in with a full pack and get in deep? U can only walk so far in the dark and hunt all day and have to walk out and be back to the truck an dup and it again.
This is why most guys quit after just a couple days, it's a very rugged and physical hunt. Your best bet is to camp off the trail up higher and start from there, and take a good strong buddy with you for packing. You can have 1 guy with you during the hunt and if you kill something you can take 4 guys (total) to retrieve the animal.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
