Would you shoot him?
« on: July 27, 2012, 07:32:11 PM »
Just retrieved my cameras today. I had about six hundred pictures in two weeks, they were all elk. Lots of cows and calves as well as a nice 6x6 bull that I wouldn't mind notching my tag on come September.

What tag you got? He is a fatty!! I'd guess he'd go 285ish or so, but as big bodied as he looks that could be thrown off a little. I'd take him unless I had a primo tag.

I'd only shoot him on days that end with 'y'.

I have the goose prairie tag. A couple more pictures of him.

Dead meat.  That elk owes me money and I need to make an example of him.
Our defense is in the preservation of the spirit which prizes liberty as the heritage of all men, in all lands, every where. Destroy this spirit, and you have planted the seeds of despotism around your own doors.

goose prairie tag?  depending on the weapon and how hard you want to hunt, I may hold off on him for now... but that all depends on the type of hunting you will be doing.

regardless, he's a nice bull

Um...yeah, and I'd be smiling all the way to the freezer.
