no d-loop string protection question
«

my son shoots with no d-loop and has his release directly on the string. Is there a way to protect the string from excessive wear in the spot where his release grabs it?

the nock will do more damage to the serving than his release will....unless he has a buggered up release. Ive always shot off the string and never had the release damage the serving ....its always the nock.

I also shoot with release directly on string.
If the serving starts to show some wear I just put a small drop of super glue on the serving.

I agree, normally the string seems to wear out in other areas before it does where you connect. I have never had a problem in 15 years with my serving.
