Doe scent in september?

I was wondering if you use doe scent in september, or is that to early in the rut?

Well...I say it can't hurt, but just use elk scent because there's elk state wide.

Doe-snt use it any more!! Play the wind just like elk hunting, and if you jump them good luck! When I used a tree stand I use to cover my scent with a tampon hanging from a tree. I'll never have it on me. I have a friend that loves to spray his boots while elk hunting and deer hunting and I can't stand not using my nose to smell around, especially during the rut!
