DBZona's 2012 Trail Cam log
« on: July 30, 2012, 06:24:24 PM »
Well Guys, I tried putting it off as long as a can, but i just cant stay away.  So here it is after scoring on a 165" buck last year I want to out do myself this year, and I may just do it.  The first four pics are of deer I have been following for 3 seasons now.  First is Duece, a nice, wide split brow buck.  Second is Split Ear, a beautiful, tall 4x4.

The last two are new deer to me.  First up is Shorty a short brow tined 4x4, but a definite shooter.  Lastly, I introduce you to a buck called Zach, and well... I will let him introduce himself.  Enjoy the pics boys and girls...

WOW very nice.  I like Zach but may give him another year.. I am pretty sure my year would be a mess since I would be sitting waiting for him every day during light during hunting season one day or another to try to get him...  Great bucks

Is Zach the one you had pictures of on here last year?

He looks kinda like him, but this is a completly different area.  Not even close to where that one last year was.   Unless he is an extensive traveler.  And I mean extensive!

I will be living in my stand with my multiseason permit for 3 1/2 months.  But I would love to shoot him in velvet.

Dude, you need to get better at internet research.  If I was to ask my wife to find out about this guy, then it'd take her about 20 minutes to find out how much his mortgage is and what sports his kids are good at.  (J/K DB about the kids thing; I'd never try to find that out, but it could be true: that stuff is out there and easily found.)  Hunting research is getting easier and easier!  Want to know coordinates of Mel Johnson's buck?  :chuckle: Or 7 of them that are alive and bigger?  :chuckle: :chuckle:  It's not that hard; just takes time and intuition on the public records.
