Get ready for it.  Won't be more than 2 years in my opinion before this is required

Agreed I just got my card from that money grab.  I guess this is the next one to come down the pike anything to keep more people out of the field, and keep the state coffers full of more confiscated wealth.

Generally, bow hunters are'nt the sharpest tools in the shed. They need there own special ed class to teach them things like the pointy end faces away from you and such.  :chuckle:

Granite falls sportsman's club did 2 classes this year and is planning on doing 3 next year.  Personally i think with the amount of multi season tags going out and people picking up bows ladt minute because of it i hope it does become required for new bow hunters in Washington.   The whole reason i starting bow hunting was to stay away from those idiots with guns.  Now they wonder around in the woods during my archery season :bash:.  Most of them pick a bow up half way through August at a pawn shop and think they're ready to go hunting well i got news for you boneheads you ain't ready.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

To answer the original question: Washington is not currently considering making archery education mandatory.

How do you know that?  I believe that Washington's archery coalition wants to make it mandatory.
