The stevens also has a worse stock.

:yeah:  But you can buy a sweet aftermarket boyd stock for $100.  If you find a stevens for the right price don't be affraid to pick it up and replace the stock.  They you have a pretty sweet gun for the money.  And a shooter to boot..... :twocents: :twocents:

I actually like the Stevens stocks. They are extremely light weight (23oz) and practically disposable. I'd that's what I used when I did my first action bedding job. If i messed it up, i was only out like $30! They make terrible target stocks though!

I just picked one up tonight in 7MM Rem Mag.    Kind of happy.   I haven't ought a rifle in a LONG time.   It will be fun to go sight in.

$480 with the Nikon BDC scope at Wholesale sports.   Seems like a good deal to me.   Please don't post a better deal........   I'm feeling good.....     8)

Seems like a good price.... I'd ditch the BDC though..... A Simmons 44 Mag scope is cheaper and better quality....  :twocents:
