going through the locks at seattle

Anybody ever take their boat threw the locks from the sound? Any tips? Does it cost money?

  We t were there a couple weeks ago.  Dont think it costs money but one guy told the dock guys he had not been trough before and the helped him out.

Thanks for the info, I have watched a bunch of youtube video's on it. Seen plenty of what not to do, but the more info the better.
