I was up north east of bellingham this weekend, saw LOTS of bear sign fresh poo's, torn up berry bushes, but not a single bear (possible sighting over 500yards something dark that moved behind bushes, but nothing up close).
I got started at 5:15am, you think they shift their activity to solely night hours? Whats are bears' max operating outside temp from your guy's experience, is their an average day temp they start switching to nocturnal?
