contact rainshadow, he can help you out, he has what you need, since traspping is gone right along with hounds, oh wait a minute you can live trap him, i just so happen to have a live trap big enough for the big mountain puma, pm me i can sell it or let ya borrow it, but just to make sure it is legal to live trap them right?

If you accidentally catch one you must release it. Only furbearers and unclassified wildlife may be retained.I'v had talks with WDFW about making trapping a legal method of take for cougar. Not going to happen.

Bearpaw, what would you use for bait? I always thought cougars prefer live game. Maybe a goat tied to a tree?
ive heard of trappers being robbed by cougars. so that would make me think cougars love beaver
