If you don't want to or can't afford to run bait once they quit using the salt find their preferred trail and set up there. Make sure your camera is pointed down the trail and not pointed perpendicular with the trail.

We are putting out 50 pounds of corn and grain with apples cut in half so they are pretty well baited...

No need to cut those apples. They will last longer and stay fresher if you don't cut them. Trust me....they can smell and find them just fine.
