heres my best buck so far. shot in mason county. i really like this thread. nothing gets my blood pumping like a blacktail buck.

Not the biggest buck in the area, but it was my first Pope and Young Blacktail at 114 6/8 that I shot during the '11 modern season.

Thanks Turner. It was the buck of my dreams for sure. It was not I was expecting to see that day especially at 11:30am, but that it is the rut for you. Hopefully I can keep myself outta that spot this year so I don't blow my late Alta muzzy tag that I drew.  :chuckle:

2009 Blacktail 129" net.  Best blacktail buck so far.

That is one beautiful deer!  Awesome thread!
