How to do a bear head

I have a bear head I would like to get bare to the bone, basically a euro mount w/o the mount. I have done a couple deer euros by boiling them with good results, and yes I know it is not the best way but its cheep.99 and I don't have authorization to spend funds on taxidermy. The problem that I foresee is the jaw falling off. Which is good for a deer euro but not a bear. What are you recommendations? As a side note my step mom has told me she would like the next deer or bear that I get mounted and put in her home (she'll pay), and she asked for a few referrals for local taxidermists, if you can recommend one for the future that would be great, she lives in the Bothell area. Thanks

SO are you wanting to clean the skull yourself or are you looking for a taxidermist to do it?

You can do it the same way as you do the deer, the jaw is just like a big hinge.  If I were to make any suggestions I would not boil but simmer at no more than 140 to 150 degrees using dawn, take your time picking away the meat.  If you can afford a professional job than you can afford it.  Good luck.

Thanks for the input Hunter Dug! I said boil, but simmer is more of what I did to the deer heads, by coincidence(the little electric element I used wasn't able to bring the canning pressure cooker pot to a boil. In hind site it sounds like that was a good thing, I'll simmer it intentionally from now on.
