Headed back to Montana this year.

Since I didn't draw any deer tags this year anywhere, I went ahead and picked up a MT deer tag. It has been a couple years since I have hunted MT, and I can't wait to get back over there this year. I think I got trapperguy22 talked into picking up a deer tag also
. He's never killed or hunted for mule deer before, but it will be a really good time i'm sure. I'll be sure and post pics come late November.

With all the tags they released, its a good option if guys want to experience some really good hunting this fall, I picked up a deer tag myself, can't wait for November and chasing muleys in the rut.

I can't wait. I'll be headed to MT in about 3 weeks. I think season opened today over there but I can't remember for sure. Hopefully we will be seeing some pics posted pretty soon of some big MT muleys.

I'm headed over next week ... I would prefer to hunt in mid Nov but work won't let me off. either way its better than most WA LE hunts so it will still be fun

Last year between roundup and milstone there were a lot of deer but a lot of private but both mule deer and whitetail. Montana in mid-november is a hunters dream.

We take off November 9th. First day of hunting will be the sunday the 11th. The three of us are hoping to be tagged out by wednesday or thursday then spend a day or so doing some coyote hunting. Saw tons of coyotes last year on the ranch we hunt, to many to pass up this year. Will post pics when we get back. GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Thanks. I plan on being there for 10 days. So i'm gonna hold out for awhile before I pull the trigger just so I can enjoy hunting mule deer in the rut. I can't wait.

Our group will be heading over on the 9th as well. I'm beside myself excited because I had to take last year off for the birth of my daughter...and my brother came back with a really nice one to catch me on our lifetime deer count. We'll be heading back to a spot (public) where 7 of us tagged out 3 years ago. Hopefully we'll have similar luck. And I'm with the rest of you...there's nothing like hunting mule deer in rut. Good luck guys and stay safe!
