There are a lot of marmots on top of Chowder that very much resemble a wolverine in the way they move, look, and color patterns are. Obvously smaller than a wolverine but size can be deceiving at a distance. Certainly not inmplying that you didn't see one but would love to see a pic.

I'll vouch, we both thought it was a bear at first. The thing would keep standing up alert, almost acting nervous, then go back to doing whatever it was doing. It was silvery on the back with a blocky head, and had a long bushy tail. I had the scope out to snap pics of it if it was a bear, once we realized it wasn't a bear I didn't take pics. It's captured on the gopro but can't see detail, just its size. I wish I took pics through the scope now, didn't think they were uncommon.
Never had much of an urge to kill one probly not very good eaten
