My experience has been that deer don't seem to run from gunshots, do bears?
God damn son!!!LoLEither ur up to your ears in yotes or you can blow the hell out that call you got!! Great job regardless if you see a bear or not!!
A few years back, I shot a bear in a small cut and after cleaning it and packing it to the edge of the cut I turn around to see another bear only a hundred yards from where my bear fell. My friend proceeded to miss right over the top of it. I would assume a gun shot would bother a bear but apparently not all of them.

One of my dad's friends in Montana has a nice spread of land that something like this happens. Whenever the bears here a shot, they come running because they know that something has died. Easiest bear hunting ever.

Bear will book it from a gun shot!
When you guys shoot a yote do you just leave it there to be eaten by another animal? I haven't looked into hunting them, and wouldn't know what to do if I shot one.
