Or you could do this using metal patterns like brushed aluminum.

I could be wrong but that dosent look like a metalized skull.  There is a process called fossilizing which involves soaking skulls in tea or usually coffee and coffee grounds or other darkening agents.  They can then be buffed, waxed or sprayed with a clear coat to get the glossy look.   This is a Coyote skull done this way.
I believe your right on that !!!!

Charlie has taken a bunch of my money.
He's gonna keep getting it too. Figure I owe to him, as everytime im down that way I propbably cost him an hour+ of production telling war stories :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Yet to be unhappy  with Charlie. He's damn good at what he does!

That was my thought on seeing it also.  It looked like one of those casts of a fossilized/tar pit type skull.  It does look pretty cool though.

If price of metalizing is an issue you may try what NW Hydro was explaining about having it dipped but use a metal, or rock type pattern that matched your liking.  Here is one I finished the other day for a client, there are endless patterns that you could pick from.  Take a look here.

I realize that we have folks on here that ARE very good with skulls............but do any of them do this?
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Unfortunately I do not metalize; however am offering Hydro graphics with or without the skull cleaning. Cant guarantee the work unless I clean the project though.  PM for price sheet.
