Had one barreling in at me!
« on: August 15, 2012, 08:52:38 AM »
Of course, it was a doe.... :chuckle:

doerunnin

Never seen a doe come in this quick before...almost thought I was gonna get stomped.
Unknown to me, until she bolted back up the hill, she had two fawns bed down up on the hill. She must have thought one was getting attacked.
She got to about 10 ft before the fawn on the hill bleated to her and off she went back up. Went out looking for new area....found a few decent spots.

I believe I called in one yote and bear on the same set...when I got down and walked the road following my tracks, fresh pile of bear poo IN my tracks and yote prints IN my tracks, both about 75 yards away, down a small hill out of my sight. :bash: :chuckle:
I got schooled.

I guess that's one way to know if you are effectively calling

Great video!

It always amazes me how ornery those old does can get, seen several chasing coyotes over in the wheat fields.

I've called in quite a few deer with the Rabbit Distress call.  It sounds very much like a fawn bleat.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Very cool!!!   Still amazes me evertime how quick and nimble they are.... Would've taken me at least 30-40 minutes to hike there and back in what she did in 30 seconds!!!!   :chuckle:
