When I get the money I will be getting one on my 300 win mag. I have a limbsaver pad on it and it did make a difference. I'm reloading and am wanting to be able to get more range time in

Well, thanks to a kind person, I now have a smaller caliber rifle for my 8 year old to use while my 10 year old can use the .308.  He's never had an issue with it, just the 8 year old.  This thread gives me a lot of good info for the future though.  Thanks a lot guys

I bet it would help but it would spread the smoke more and be a pain to clean. I am honelstly guessing though

Some smoke poles come with porting from the factory now :tup: Not fully ported like the rifles you see pictured. If they were like that it would make it hard to get the loose powder down the barrel :chuckle:
