Not enough room... I have over 50 deer with my Browning BLR..  Hunting 3 states a year for many years...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I'll put two of my stash up on this thread.  The first is a savage model 1899 in .250-.3000 and the 2nd is a Winchester model 71 in .348.

Guess I need to show something that was taken with a levergun.  Here's a meat buck that met the .348.  Not much question where he took the hit.  No tracking necessary.

I would love to find a clean Savage 99 in .284 Winchester.

Both rifles are way cool Goldeneye. My dad had a .348 when he was young.

My dad had one too.  That's the reason when I found this one some years ago I had to have it.  I took down a buck with it a few years back.  That .348 slug flat hammered him.  I call that my connection to my father back in the day.  When I told him about it he was about bawlin'.  All good!

I may have to do the same thing since my dad passed this last February. This year I was going to carry a 7x57 he gave me years ago that he got as a Christmas gift from his father in 57 when he lived in Ellensberg.

Goldeneye, I had a Model 99 in .250 Savage and a Model 71 in .348.  I loved them both.  I found a horse I had to have so both guns went on the block to sell so I could afford him.  Thankfully he's a great horse.  I kept my Model 94 in .356 Winchester though.  It still hasn't been initiated with a kill, maybe this year.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

Chris Ledoux...

It would be tough for me to give those guns up.  Must be a special horse.  Your model 94 in .356 sounds interesting.  I may have to do some research and maybe try to find one.  Hope you get one with it!

The squaw's first bear.  Dang I forgot I snagged her so young :o  Savage 1899 250-3000.

Sorry poor pic.  Need to get the scanner fixed.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
