You will probably be fine.  They are EN rated so you will be comfortable down to 40* and probably less if you are a warm sleeper.   I slept in the low 20*s with my 20* bag this last year and never woke up cause of the cold once. That's why it pays to buy an EN rated bag... There was ice all over the outside of the tent and I was sleeping great inside.   Once you get it, toss up a picture of it compressed.  I'd like to see the difference in size.

Yeah, will do.  One of the high hunts I'm looking at would be along a river anyway, so base camp wouldn't be too high up.  I feel like most of the time up there in Sept, at 5k feet or less it typically stays above freezing in which case I think I'll be okay.  It'll really free up a lot of space to haul something out if I am successful too.  I'm hoping its about the size of your 20oz bottle when packed up.  Just need to find a small enough sack to stuff it in.

I'm looking at the 0 degree long but am worried about the shoulders. I'm 6' 230 pounds. Based on the reviews it looks like it might be too tight for me?? Any thoughts? Thanks

Definitely go with the long.  Worse case scenario, you could return it.   At these prices I'd at least give it a try.

You could try the small E-vent compression sack and then just put your extra clothing in there with it.  Kill two birds with one stone...
