Went up and canoed/ camped Cooper lake. what a beautiful area..

It is beautifull up there so thanks for the pictures. Though I did shudder a little remembering the walk up some of those hills last October.

I have camped there a few times, the hike to Pete lake is pretty nice.

A friend from oly just made the same trip....   Wonder if your heathers cousin....  Or Lots of people canoe there.  I hunted that area quite a few times.  Fun hike up Davis.

it is a great place to go.  You could have just posted pic's and not a location.  There are enough people that come over here and ruin our local spots.  Just look to your left when you come over the bridge over the river. Full of garbage from campers.  There is enough garbage to fill a ten yard dumpster.  Makes me sick.  Hey lets go to cle elum and go camping and just leave all our garbage on the ground in a pile for the bears and ravens to get into.  I'm not saying its you but the more it's advertised the worse it gets. :twocents:

That's Chimney Rock ....climbed that back in the day. A couple friends hunted high buck near Lemah Mountain (left of center in this photo) but saw far more hunters than deer.
