picked up 3 dz goose shells and cleaned them up, re-vamped my 14' jon boat and finishing up the flooring this week, pulled out the sneak boat and cleaned it up...touched up the paint job on it....calls already in the truck and did a lil scouting last weekend.  now to figure out what to do for early goose since it's right in the middle of early archery :dunno:  not to mention we haven't ever done early goose...got the itch tho.

I'm repainting my kayak and patching up my buddies homemade boat. Adding grass and camo to both. Double checking to make sure the dekes are good and clean, and practicing my calling whenever I'm driving and the wife isn't in the x.

Well the old decoys are all re-rigged and the new ones are rigged. My shell bag has been packed and re-packed. The guns are cleaned and oiled and ready to go. Will be checking the blinds this weekend to check on last minute brushing and stuff. Put in 3,500 sporting clays targets this year with one month to go; I might be ready :dunno:

I made a snow sled into a decoy trailer thing  :chuckle: so I can pull all of my extra decoys in my kayak. I spray-painted it put swimming noodles on the side of it for stability.

Ok here it is. It is like a yacht for decoys  :chuckle:

Brilliant idea. How well does it slide across land? I know that isn't the intended purpose but I may do something similar and then glass it in and resin the crap out of it.

It did great sliding across land. I even convinced my dog to hop in, and it towed her around  :chuckle: I think that I am going to build the sides up on it so it can hold more decoys. Always need more decoys  :chuckle:

I can fit 4 flaoter Canada decoys, and 4 mallards in it, and it floats them fine (and that was before I put the noodles on the side). BUT, when I was about 4 years old (way before I put the noodles on the side  :chuckle: ),
I put it in a pool, jumped in it, and it sank  :chuckle:
