The binos in that review aren't the newest version of the razor HD. I just bought the newest razor HD and they are very compact and light for 10x42 binos. Very clear and bright as well.

I have heard good and bad about them.  Probably just Vortex haters I suspect.

probably so, but I dont here much bad stuff on Vortex most of it positive and their customer service is top notch :tup:

i havent had them too long but so far i cant say that there is anything that i dont like or am not happy about them. i will give them a real test when i start hunting in a couple weeks. but so far very impressed.

just snagged a pair today. I will be able to pack 3 more pounds of candy now!!!!!! They are light!

ive got a pair of the Viper HD's 8x32 i picked up off the prize table at a local match. my first thought was wow these are bright! great glass for the price my :twocents:
I started dry heaving and gagging so bad. I about puked up my daily dose of Redbull.

I used mine out hunting over the weekend and I do like them a lot! Much better than what I am used to.
