Well decided to leave the Elk alone for awhile and see if I can catch my 1st fall king ...It went O.K other than one jerking the pole out of my hand  :yike: So anyway I hooked into one nice one and as I set the hook it peeled out on me and I had the pole lightly in my hand and it literally took the pole out of my hand ...Luckily there was guys below me who retieved my dang pole and bought it back to me ...After all the laughing they hand me the pole with the fish still on it ... Crazy ...Just another Bazzare day in the field  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:

YA THINK D-Rock  :o ;)  Lets see how smart we are today .... :chuckle: :dunno:Lets say you shoot a cougar or a bear and lay it in your truck for around 3 or 4 days frozen ...Does it keep its same body weight or does it loose around 20% of its body fluids ??   OFF TOPIC BUT on the same subject  :chuckle: :chuckle: :hello:  Then I will go on to finish my opinion on how stupid some people are including the law ! :police:

Nice hook mark in the side of the top one   must have been the guy before you :dunno:

How do you get the muddy taste out of those kings? I've tried everything from pickling to smoking nothing seems to hide the distinct flavor of the samish bay, lol.

Those stupid rules are mainly in place to help keep the masses at bay but it's not working  :chuckle:  It's ridiculous what has happened to that river the last few years. I try to keep a good memory of what that fishery was like 20 yrs ago by not participating anymore
