I've never had a problem at COSTCO with open carry.

Here's the NRA ILA list of businesses which have some sort of anti-gun policy.

Nice List.

Perhaps we should start writing that long list of anti-gun organizations, individuals and "celebrities", corporations, and publication and media outlets.  They appear to have signed on to Eric Holder's anti-gun brainwashing campaign.  They pump out anti-gun, brainwashing propaganda.

Perhaps we should ask all of them to really consider what made us a free nation and what keeps us a free nation.  The Second Amendment is probably the most important amendment in the Bill of Rights.  Think about what ensures our Constitution will remain intact along with all of the rights and freedoms it guarantees.

I'm not sure what your expected result would be. They're private citizens and they're self-righteous. The best we can do is educate each other to try and not give business to the corporations who have these policies.  :twocents:

Good point.

It is very frustrating to see corporations take these positions as if their entire workforce agrees with them, which obviously is not true.  The major publication and media outlets that use their ability to influence the population with propaganda is equally frustrating.

Ok ... I guess I was just venting a bit, but also reminding people of the vast amounts of propagnda that is continuously disseminated.  It is also good for all to see Eric Holder make these statements to clearly see how he operates; telling the truth doesn't appear to be in the cards.

Yeah, that's why I like that ILA list. It helps me make smarter choices.

It's not a corporate policy. You've got one liberal running around making up rules, as far as i can see. Someone should've written a letter.

The reply from Regal on my email stating that because of their policy, I no longer feel safe in their theaters:

"Dear Mr. W,

Thank you for taking the time to communicate your concerns regarding our facility security policies. Please understand that Regal Entertainment Group, with the assistance of safety experts and law enforcement personnel, has developed policies and procedures designed to provide the safest environment for our guests and employees. Rest assured these policies and procedures are not designed with the intent to inconvenience or otherwise cause hardship to our guests. However, we believe these policies appropriate to assure the general safety of all guests and employees.

Please note all law enforcement officers, whether on or off duty, are exempt from our gun prohibition policy in the theatre, as long as they identify themselves as such either by display of a badge or other identification upon request.

Again, thank you for taking the time to advise us of your concerns.

Sincerely,
Customer Relations Department
Operational Services
Regal Entertainment Group"
