Just heard on the radio that Stevens County commissioners passed the ATV law on county roadways.

Good. My atv club, EWATV.org has been working on that for quite awhile. It's about time WE got something. Hats off to the Stevens County commissioners and my ATV Club. Thanks Gary Prewitt and all the people that got it opened up..................

I dont believe so.....you can get a map at the forset circus detailing open roads within their jurisdiction.  If you plan to ride county roads, have your ATV sticker and a helmet ON !

Please everyone be courteous and law obiding as this can be reversed....this is not cause for a free for all.  If a road is deemed to be a problem area, it can be added to a closed list.......dont let this happen.  Be respectful of driving through rural neigborhoods and around farms and live stock.  You can and will get a DUI on a quad......my guess is there will be alot of scrutiny from some law enforcement agencies.   County roads are not intended to be a play ground , so use your best judgement.   :twocents:

The Stevens County Sheriff I know says he won't and never would of messed with an ATV rider. He said he rides his on the county roads before the ruling was passed. But you're right, be respectful.

Two sheriffs live near me.....they are the good guys.   Its not them that will get you.  It is a more revenue oriented agency...........

Many of the more traveled roads on the Colville Forest are actually county roads and they are included from my understanding. More detailed info should be available soon.
