Here's one I shot in October of '06 that went 340 lb. gutted. It's gutted in the 1st pic. The rug is 6'1" and is on my wall. Really nice hide!

I shot this bear in eastern Skagit County near Bacon Creek. I'm sure he had just come down out of the mountians to the valley bottom. He was very fat and had a very heavy coat.

Just curious..I saw the boat and thought it might have been a coastal bear that I was told about.... ;)

Bet the rug was cool. Thanks for posting.

Very nice bear. Congrats.
Oh, and I PM'd you with a question on one of your pics.
I left it better than I found it...did you?

Great looking bear. I got one similar size last year that was cinnamon. It was 6'1" from nose to base of tail and 6'6" from front paw to front paw.
Nice looking rug too, congrats.

That is a stud of a bear! Huge, nice color and great fur. It doesn't get any better than that.
This is the bear I told you about in the pm. I took the picture in '05, pretty close to Bacon Crk.
