I know this is for washington but i just moved from SW washington to fairbanks and want to go fishing. anybody have any places, tips, or anything that i should know? Would like to fish for anything.

Go into the Sportsman's Warehouse over near WalMart and Lowes and just off the Johanson Pkwy. They have a board right inside the door with what's hot and what's not on the rivers and lakes.
The Chena has a really good C&R fishery for grayling. Especially right after the ice disappears in the spring. But now until it ices up can be really good also.

Chris Batin has written a couple of books on fishing in Ak. that will be helpful. His hunting book is great. Alaska Outdoors Directory has a forum that will give you a ton of info.
